July 31st workout. 10 weeks (ish) out
This week has been rough. I am still getting over the jet lag from traveling, plus I have gained a few extra pounds that really need to come off asap. I just haven’t felt comfortable in my skin. Plus I have been sore and just exhausted, my body has not been able to bounce back like I hoped. But Today I felt a little better and did a fair amount of work.
I started with
3 sets of 10 bench press with 65 pounds.
Then moved to:
3 sets of 6 bench press with 100 pounds
After this I started into higher volume work with less weight.
3 rounds:
15 pushups
15 tricep dips
Then I randomly felt like doing 30 reps of squat cleans…just with the bar.
Then moved to 3 sets of 15 reps superset of:
rear delt flies
Regular chest flies
And finished it off with an 80 calorie row
Two rounds of sand bag sprints and farmers walks.
And 20 minutes MISS cardio
My body is now dead.
Next week will be really working on strongman events and powerlifting. Getting excited to get strong.
